This is a grid of numbered thumbnail images for Anne’s Australian national flag designs and for selected variants of those designs. It is meant to show how the candidates of an Australian flag design contest might be efficiently presented online, for public rating. Accordingly, the design of the current Oz flag has been included in the grid. In an actual contest, additional security provisions would be built-in to restrict ratings submissions to eligible Australians, and to prevent individuals from repeatedly rating a single design.

Click any flag’s thumbnail image to open its corresponding informational PDF in a new tab. An associated rating applet will also open when any thumbnail is clicked, so as to further illustrate the viability of using such a grid for an online flag contest. To close a rating applet, click the ‘X’ at its top right corner or press your ‘ESC’ key. Any ratings that you choose to submit through the applets will be anonymous, neither recording your IP Address nor sending any HTTP cookies to your device, and your ratings will only be stored temporarily. To reset all of the applets to their original states, simply refresh the page.
